A brand new Minecraft game has made its debut at the Xbox Summer Games Fest - one where you'll be able to construct structures and command your friends to fight off enemies. Xbox Games Studios showed a video clip of Minecraft Legends and announced that the new strategy-action game will be available in 2023. It was created in collaboration with Blackbird Interactive and will feature an online campaign co-op and multiplayer competitive mode. Dennis Ries, the executive producer of the game, stated that the studio will provide more details about them later in the year.
Minecraft Legends will require you to defend the Overworld from an invading army piglins. You'll need to form alliances and take on strategic battles against the invading troops. Ries said the "game will have a very exciting campaign that will introduce numerous surprises for the novice and experienced Minecraft player alike." Although the developer hasn't revealed much about the game, they have promised to release more details soon.
